The Otero County Detention Center will close and lose 1,000 jobs but could also loose $6 million and $500,000 annually as a result of legislation signed by the governor; SForest Service workers will be building woody debris structures in Brady Canyon, Perk Canyon and Upper Cedar Creek Canyon.
